For good reasons, I somewhen began to mistrust all apps I bought on this store and meanwhile, I instantly start an analysis of the complete internet traffic an app makes. No „surprises" here… This app uploads your data and more (e.g. cover photos you shot) without further notice. […] Unless you really don’t care about your privacy, I would recommend to skip this app. — Update 1, to be fair: BookBuddy does a great job on cataloging your books. Scanning multiple books has its flaws, but none that would dramatically slow you down. It has CSV im- and export functionality, a borrowing feature, supports multiple authors, series and subtitels. But to me, it’s all about transparency. If the developer doesn’t cater to it, I will :)

I have searched for a tool for recording and managing my book collection for quite a long time. I have using book buddy which is perfect for these needs. I am managing a data base with several thousands books abd there are no problems at all. Good searching functions, online search, import/export, built in photos and so on. I have also experienced a highest level support when I lost my data base unpurposely. They helped in such a professional and personal way, it is unbelievable. Thank for the help again ! Full 5 stars evaluation !

Cant use it. It just crashes.

Super awesome app, easy to use once you figure it out. Figuring it out can be tricky, but very worth it for the avid reader/lender

It does what it needs to. The only change I would like to see is have the option to organize by series as well as order the books within the series. Right now you have to go into the books info to see what number in the series it is.

This app is the best I can find for organizing my book collection. Totally worth taking the time to enter all the books. One thing I would love to see added to this app is a better syncing with my computer. I can send it via email but it would be great if I could have the same style of listing on my computer.

Love this app! Being able to share books from friends list simply by barcode is great feature.

BookBuddy is simple to use and a great way to catalogue a personal or business library. Love this app!

Looks like it does what one needs, but the free monicker is a farce. Who has only <50 books and would need to catalogue them? Expect to pay the $6 up front.

Its a great way for me to keep track of the books Ive read

I was surprised when I was told I had reached my limit of books for the free version of BookBuddy. I had spent quite a bit of time putting my books into the app. I had also backed them up into Dropbox. At this point I couldnt see abandoning my mission as it was so much fun. Be prepared to spend $5 bucks if you have lots of books!

I have loads of books so paid the upgrade it works well and great for me over 300 books in so far no problems

Wish there could be an option for the volume number to be "1.5" for example because some books are novellas. Otherwise I love this app, very easy to use and convenient.

Great app for my books, its the best Ive used yet and I love that I can have a picture with it. Easy to use and covers all that I need to describe for each book.

I tried so many other apps that did similar things but I simply couldnt find one that did everything I wanted done, till I can across his one. Not only can you catalog your entire library but you can assign them different categories saying whether you read them or not. There are also options where you can say if you lent someone a book or if that book is part of a specific series. A purchase is required though if you have quite a lot of book, however, I do recommend the purchase if you are debating it. One of the best apps to manage books.

I wish Id discovered this before I had collected over 400 books. Took awhile to catalogue as older books often arent scan-able and need to be entered manually. I love having this app because now when I go into a store to buy books I can just simply type in the title and see if I have it already, no more buying repeats. Easy to use and update. Helps keep track of the books youve lent out as well as read. Only request I have is to put some themes on it to personalize it.
