I really like the concept and it works very well.

This is such a great app. I have a relatively big library, book buddy allows me to keep track of my books, categorize them and find them on my shelves. I love that I can just scan them in (most of the time). I have my books organized in different categories which corresponds to where they are on the shelf. Great app, worth the money.

I scanned 20 books. It recognized 8. These are not obscure books published outside North America - theyre popular authors and recent bestsellers. No point in an app like this if I have to enter every book manually. Glad I didnt pay for the full version.

Purchased this app and loaded with 250 Books. Really liked it until it disappeared from my iPhone. No way to retrieve. Time to look for another more stable app.

Very user friendly. Well thought out with no fanfare. Great for keeping track of books lent out (extensive reading library, academic bookshelf, etc). Only thing missing from 4.0 version is the barcode scan for non English books (in my case Japanese) but that can be overcome by the Search Online option. Would have given a star if finding non English stuff was barcode friendly, and also a little cheaper in line with other similar apps.

this App is really what I was looking for. If I could suggest two improvements, I would appreciate an Ipad version (at least not to be obliged to turn necessarily the device vertically for each entry) and the possibility to move items from wish list to purchased ones with one click.

I use this to keep track of what Ive read as well as notes and excerpts from each book

I am disappointed that this "free" app only allowed 50 books before you have to upgrade to the Pro for a fee. I was also disappointed that more the half of the books I scanned were not recognizable in the system. Will be looking for another app.

I love this app! I have over 500 books so this app lets me categorize them all so I know not to buy duplicate books. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a large collection of books.

This is the best book app out there so far! I love the clean, modern font and set up. It really helps to keep everything organized. Another awesome quality is the ads - or, rather, the lack thereof. Theres no advertisement and I seriously love that, please never change it. However, Id really love an update or few... First, I need to be able to do half-stars! So many of the books I read are 3.5/5 stars or 4.5/5 stars. It would be an awesome addition that would really bump this app to a 4/5! :) Second, and this is kinda big so I understand that its probably not gonna happen soon, but if I could view other peoples libraries? Like if I searched my friends username and I could see that she has a book i want so i could send her a message through the app and ask her to borrow it. Obviously this would need privacy settings of its own of course. Third, I recently purchased the full version (I used to have the free). I know the large cost is likely due to the absence of advertisement (like i said, love that), but i feel it should come with more than just unlimited shelf space. the full/pro version, at $5, should bring other features too, like maybe a customizable color scheme? (this update would def bring yall to a 5!) thanks if you read it! tl;dr: good app, but i wish i could rate my books with half-stars and that the Pro version upgrade had more than just unlimited shelf space. :)

Was looking for something exactly like this, so I could easily keep track of books Ive purchased/read. As an avid reader, its hard to keep track of everything Ive read, but this app makes it easy to do that. Plus it keeps titles organized in a way that is easy to search. Definitely recommend this.

I was so excited for this app. It seemed like the perfect way to keep track of my personal library and reading list. However, I was disappointed that the free version only allows you to input 50 books. Not to mention, I had to use the online search tool for most of them because the barcodes wouldnt scan. I changed most of the book covers because the search couldnt find the correct version. Overall, I love this idea, it just didnt work like I had hoped and severely let me down when I found out I could only import 50 books.

Great app and it has everything Im looking for, but I wish that when I sort the list by author it would go by last name not first name.

So I bought the full version because I seriously needed something to keep track of my books, but the free version only let me put in 50 titles. The full version on the other hand is great, it sorts them how I want them sorted. Things are easy to find.

This is a great app helping me keeping my book library organized. Highly recommended.

It helps me organize all my books and helps me to not get a duplicate when I am at a store.

Maybe the best $5 Ive ever spent. This app is precisely what I needed. (I ended up buying the paid version I liked it so much.) Scan in books (or search by ISBN), if the photo isnt right initially update it by Google search in app or taking a photo, and it can be sorted and provides different lists for borrowed and loaned out books and the like. Great work!

The only issue I have is that I cannot find how to set the default Genre to "Mystery" when adding new books. Book Lover
