I have searched for a tool for recording and managing my book collection for quite a long time. I have using book buddy which is perfect for these needs. I am managing a data base with several thousands books abd there are no problems at all. Good searching functions, online search, import/export, built in photos and so on. I have also experienced a highest level support when I lost my data base unpurposely. They helped in such a professional and personal way, it is unbelievable. Thank for the help again !

Super awesome app, easy to use once you figure it out. Figuring it out can be tricky, but very worth it for the avid reader/lender
It does what it needs to. The only change I would like to see is have the option to organize by series as well as order the books within the series. Right now you have to go into the books info to see what number in the series it is.
This app is the best I can find for organizing my book collection. Totally worth taking the time to enter all the books. One thing I would love to see added to this app is a better syncing with my computer. I can send it via email but it would be great if I could have the same style of listing on my computer.
Love this app! Being able to share books from friends list simply by barcode is great feature.
BookBuddy is simple to use and a great way to catalogue a personal or business library. Love this app!

and meanwhile, I instantly start an analysis of the complete internet traffic
an app makes.

Update 1, to be fair:
BookBuddy does a great job on cataloging your books.
Scanning multiple books has its flaws, but none that would dramatically
slow you down. It has CSV im- and export functionality, a borrowing feature,
supports multiple authors, series and subtitels.
But to me, it’s all about transparency. If the developer doesn’t cater to it, I will :)
I scanned 20 books. It recognized 8. These are not obscure books published outside North America - theyre popular authors and recent bestsellers. No point in an app like this if I have to enter every book manually. Glad I didnt pay for the full version.
Purchased this app and loaded with 250 Books. Really liked it until it disappeared from my iPhone. No way to retrieve. Time to look for another more stable app.
I am disappointed that this "free" app only allowed 50 books before you have to upgrade to the Pro for a fee. I was also disappointed that more the half of the books I scanned were not recognizable in the system. Will be looking for another app.
I was so excited for this app. It seemed like the perfect way to keep track of my personal library and reading list. However, I was disappointed that the free version only allows you to input 50 books. Not to mention, I had to use the online search tool for most of them because the barcodes wouldnt scan. I changed most of the book covers because the search couldnt find the correct version. Overall, I love this idea, it just didnt work like I had hoped and severely let me down when I found out I could only import 50 books.
I loved this for keeping track of my personal books and books for school. Im a teacher & would forget what I had and wished for. This kept it all in one place. Imagine my surprise when I go to check my over 300 books Id scanned & added & it tells me I have 5! Worse yet these are obviously for a policeman or someone in law enforcement. I cannot figure out how to fix this since it just goes to "my books" & not my information. Very disappointed.
